These terms and conditions apply to www.londonbicycleworkshop.com website run by The London Bicycle Workshop Ltd. London Bicycle Workshop is registered in England and was founded in June 2009. Company registration number is 6920511 and its registered office is at The London bicycle Workshop Ltd., 97-99 Clerkenwell Road, London, EC1R 5BX.

These terms and conditions apply to all orders (including telephone orders) and quotations for sale of goods by London Bicycle Workshop. We reserve the right to change the terms and conditions at any time and it is your responsibility to check them on regular basis. This does not affect your statutory rights.

 

SERVICE ACCEPTANCE

By placing an order with London Bicycle Workshop you are giving us an offer to buy goods supplied by our company. We will email you your order conformation to accept your offer and enter into a contract with you.

 

PRICES

All prices are inclusive of VAT and quoted in Pounds Sterling.

 

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

Product descriptions, specifications, suitability and images are the best available at the time and London Bicycle Workshop shall not be liable for any advice given regarding suitability. Any orders of goods with unsuitable description will be refunded upon the return of goods in question.

All goods supplied by London Bicycle Workshop and acquired by you should be fitted by qualified person and according to manufacturer's instructions. You confirm that you shall comply with any and all rules relating to installation of goods and fully accept that we shall not be liable for any loss which results from forced, misdirected, inappropriate or unqualified installation of any goods or not adequately maintained goods.

Any goods, or parts of them, that are modified or adapted by you or any third party shall no longer be warranted by the manufacturer nor shall London Bicycle Workshop be liable for any failures resulting from any such modification or adaptation.

 

GUARANTIES

All guarantees in respect of Goods are provided entirely by the manufacturers or UK importers and are subject to terms and conditions specified by relevant manufacturers. You are reminded to complete all warranty documents and to check warranty conditions upon receipt of goods.

 

PAYMENT

London Bicycle Workshop accepts online payments using Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and Maestro cards.

All website payments are taken in full at the time of order, regardless of stock.

 

RETURNS POLICY

If you change your mind about any goods purchased via www.londonbicycleworkshop.com, notify us in writing within 14 working days from the day the goods were delivered to you by emailing [email protected] and return the goods to London Bicycle Workshop for a full refund or exchange. We will confirm your cancellation within 2 working days. You must return unused goods to London Bicycle Workshop at your own cost and at your own risk.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to London Bicycle Workshop from your debit or credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your order provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.

 

DELIVERY

In London Bicycle Workshop we will arrange delivery of goods in the UK on your behalf with third party delivery service providers.

Providing ordered goods are in stock, London Bicycle Workshop will despatch your order within 24 hours from the moment the order was placed (excluding weekends). The cut-off time for the same-day despatch is 2.00pm. Our standard delivery (2nd Class Royal Mail Delivery Service) should be delivered in 2-3 days including Saturdays but it is not guaranteed. We will send Your Goods via:

  • Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For for all orders
  • Bikes, Wheelsets and bigger items will be shipped via courier

Once Goods have been delivered to you, they will be held at your own risk and London Bicycle Workshop will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

In the checkout process there is an option to leave special instructions for delivery. London Bicycle Workshop shall not be liable for any damage caused by printing your instructions on the box (including phone numbers, codes, etc.). We shall also not be liable for your delivery instructions not being followed by companies with whom we arrange delivery services on your behalf. We will always attach your instructions to the packaging, in which your goods shall be delivered.

 

GOODS NOT IN STOCK

Any goods ordered via www.londonbicycleworkshop.com that are not in stock will be refunded in full unless you are either pre-ordering or agreeing to wait for us to acquire them for you.

 

LIABILITY

London Bicycle Workshop shall not be liable any for incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims.

We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and get a refund prior to the item being despatched.

 

COOKIES AND PRIVACY

Our email newsletter can be opted into when placing an order online, and at any time can be unsubscribed by simply clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email.

When we ask for contact telephone numbers when you place an order, this is purely for contacting customers quickly if there is an issue with the efficient delivery of your order or a product recall and not for any other purpose.

Personal and Company addresses are used solely to provide efficient delivery and for fraud screening processes on online payment gateways.

We keep your details on our system indefinitely to provide you with the option of quickly recovering any sales receipts, order history and contact you about any product recalls (if such situation occurs).

You have the right to ask us to delete your data and all you have to do is call 02079988738 or email [email protected] and we shall remove all your details from our records. You have to be aware that this action will permanently erase all your order history and we would not be able to provide you with any order assistance any more.
